After breakfast, leave your hotel in NyaungShwe/Inle Lake and drive up through pine-clad hills to Taunggyi; capital of Southern Shan State and a former British hill station. Visit the local market where minority people sell their produce and a cheroot factory. Just a couple of hours from Taunggyi, discover the "long lost" ruins of KakKu in countryside inhabited by the Pa O people. Situated in the rolling Shan Hills, KakKu pagoda is very unusual and little-known about its origins. Dozens of small stupas surround the main pagoda in a huge circle. Lunch is served at a local restaurant. Visit one of the many Pa O villages near Kakku and see a huge monastery on the way back to Taunggyi. After dinner at a local
restaurant, transfer to hotel.

Pick up from your hotel in NyaungShwe/Inle Lake and proceed to Sagar Village by boat (about 2 hours). On the way, you will visit Takong village where you may see ancient Pagodas which were built in the period of the Shan Sawbow (the king of the Shan ethnic). Lunch is served at a local restaurant near the Takong Village. Then, continue visit to Sagar Village where you will get insight into the unspoiled culture and traditional life-style of the ethnic Pa-O andIntha inhabitants. On the way back to the Inle Lake/NyaungShwe, visit Kyauk-Taing village which is a Shan village where earthenware pottery is produced. After dinner at a local restaurant, transfer back to hotel in NyaungShwe/Inle Lake.

After breakfast, drive (225km – 8 hours) Loikaw (Kayah State). Enjoying sceneries of crops field en-route, stop at Pin Laung village for lunch at a local restaurant. Continue to Loikaw and arrive in late afternoon. If time permits, enjoy panoramic and sunset view from hill of TaungkweZeti, famous landmark of this area. Check in at hotel and overnight.
After breakfast, visit a local market at Loikaw; capital of Kayah State and still remain as an untouched attraction where you can observe traditional ways of life of Kayah national races and the area's landmark like NgweSaung Dam and extension to nearby villages like SunboonPadaung village, HtayThamaDawsawbiKayah village, and some more villages depending on situation to see most unusual Kayah tribes ladies wearing brass rings around their extra ordinary long neck,Kayah traditional weaving industry and wonderful ritual flagstaffs of Nat (spirit) worshipers and visit Kayah state museum. Dinner is served at a local restaurant and overnight at hotel.
After breakfast, start visiting Pohperyone teaching monastery where about 500 monks are studying. Then, drive to Phekhone town(about 1 ½ hours) and proceed by boat through Phekhone lake (about 1 ½ hours) encompassed by breath taking and fresh landscape along theBilu Creek. On the way, visit ThaKhaung relic pagoda, other ancient religious monuments and ways of life of Shan, Pa Ohand Inthanational races in Sagar village. Picnic lunch box will be served on the way. Proceed to Lotus weaving at Kyaingkham village. Arrive NyaungShwe/ Inle Lake and transfer to hotel after dinner at a local restaurant.
